Beautiful use of light and colour in this wonderfully textured oil on canvas by Swedish artist Folke Hellström Lind (1913-1957).
Most probably dating to the 1940s, this painting depicts the interior of a Swedish fishing hut. A really charming painting in immaculate condition.
Due to his short life, Lind’s paintings are relatively scarce and this is a really super find.
Presented in the original gilt and painted wooden frame with linen linings.
Monogram signed.
