1920s Oak side table with barley twist supports
Beautifully compact and useful. This solid oak side table has a rectangular top with a wavy / scalloped edge which sits above a simple apron. The table is supported on beautifully crafted, hand turned barley twist legs which are joined by a simple stretcher and raised on hand turned feet.
There is minor surface wear from use but nothing significant and the lacquer has definitely protected the wood over the years. If desired the lacquer could be stripped back or you could get this re-sprayed in a statement colour. But as it stands now it is a lovely country piece that would make an attractive side table ready for your favourite lamp / books / plants / magazines.
Wear is commensurate with age. Joints all strong and no wobbles - solid and heavy.
Delivered polished and ready to place in the home.
