A well proportioned 19th Century English rosewood bobbin armchair with newly upholstered seat pad and cushion.
19th Century English Rosewood Bobbin Chair
A beautifully proportioned English Regency armchair, crafted from rosewood and beech, featuring elegant bobbin-turned details.
The backrest and arms are skilfully bobbin-turned and retain their original simulated rosewood finish, while the frame, armrests, and front/ back legs are crafted in solid rosewood.
Newly upholstered by us in Sanderson Aperigon Swag Woad fabric— a luxurious linen/cotton blend with a subtle, natural feel. The heavy, textured fabric features a striking large-scale stripe, which pairs harmoniously with the antique wood, adding a contemporary touch to this timeless piece.
Wear to the show wood commensurate with age. We have left the armrests uncovered to enjoy the beauty of the rosewood (these have been covered previously so there are historic tack marks to the sides). If preferred, the armrests can be covered for a small additional charge.
