A really delightful and original Regency (early 19th century) gentleman's dressing stand.
Expertly crafted in solid mahogany, the top opens to reveal divided and lidded compartments with brass knobs, a square framed adjustable mirror, all raised on four elegantly tapering ring turned supports with brass castors. Also retaining the original key and working lock.
At a very useful 72cm high, this lovely antique would also be perfect as a bedside table.
Wonderful deep mahogany colour with ebony stringing and crossbanding to the front and sides of the piece. This is a highly decorative as well as functional item; a real gem.

In excellent condition; all in fully working order as originally crafted, retaining original working key and lock as well.
