Antique Georgian Mahogany Washstand Bedside Cabinet

Antique quality large mahogany washstand bedside table circa 1810, Georgian. 

A high quality piece crafted in beautiful flame mahogany. With a two piece boxwood strung top which opens to reveal a deep compartment providing useful storage; dummy drawer and door beneath; and a lower oak lined deep drawer which slides freely.  Swan neck handles to each side so that the table can be moved as needed.

Great rare item, which is solid in construction with no loose joints. Overall in an excellent antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use.  There is a small piece of veneer missing on the bottom of the drawer but this is insignificant given 200+ age and could be replaced if desired. This lovely old antique has obviously been very well cared for over the years.

Desirable Georgian age with a lovely colour and patina.

Would be great as a bedside table, or between twin beds in the guest room. Could also look great in a living room or landing with lamp atop!
