Antique Mahogany Plant Stand
A Georgian style antique mahogany plant stand or jardinière with a useful lower tier shelf and pretty wavy edge to the plant stand apron.
Simple Georgian box design with chamfered edges and square legs. A really lovely elegant piece with clean lines and balanced proportions - both attractive and useful.
Dated 19th Century. The plant sits within the top box section, which hides the pot - note there is some historic water damage to the inside (see photo), but all solid, dry and fit for purpose. Would recommend using a plant pot saucer rather than letting further water damage occur.
In a good clean antique condition - surface wear commensurate with age and use and a good mellow mahogany colour. Solid of joint, with no historic repairs. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to place in the home.
