A lovely Edwardian card or games table exhibiting fine craftsmanship. Very well made, the fabulous envelope top rotates to open the leaves ready for play. An honest piece, in original condition with the exception of the baize which looks to be a replacement. Dated c. 1905.

Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Envelope Games Table

  • Delightfully compact and super smart Edwardian games table. Dated circa 1905 this table is in a very good antique condition.

Rotate the top and the solid mahogany leaves open out to create a playing surface with a biaze lined centre and 4 gaming wells.

This is a typically elegant Edwardian piece with a useful single frieze drawer at the front, which retains its original brass pulls; satinwood inlay; and tapered legs raised on the original castors.

There is some wear to the baize (which could easily be replaced) but this adds character and is a good sign that this table has enjoyed a few competitive games!

Delivered cleaned, polished and ready for its first game in its new home.
