Edwardian Mahogany Envelope Card or Games Table
This super Edwardian mahogany envelope card table is in a fabulous antique condition with a lovely rich colour and sheen to the wood.
The four section envelope top rotates clockwise to slightly pop up one of the sections so that the table can open out ready for play. The envelope sections open out to create a playing surface, with a baize lined centre and 4 gaming wells.
The table features a useful single frieze drawer at the front with cast brass pulls. There is a beautiful decorative beading around the four sides of the apron rather than the more commonplace inlay. The table is then raised on four elegant cabriole legs which terminate in pad feet.
Wear commensurate with age and use - this table is in an excellent antique condition and has obviously been very well looked after over the years. The green baize is in a good, used condition - these are easy to replace when they become worn; but it still has many games left in it.
This games table would make a wonderful addition to the home for the winter months. Delivered lightly polished and ready to place in the home.
