George III Mahogany Round Tilt Top Table
A stunning George III tilt top table in the most wonderfully figured mahogany. The tilt top mechanism is in working order and there is a lovely raised edge detail to the table top.
There is an historic repair to one foot which isn't particularly noticeable unless you are looking for it. But the repair is solid and strong and doesn't affect use of this beautiful compact piece and is reflected in the price.
This is a lovely elegant table with a gorgeous rich colour and antique patina. The turned support finishes in fine shapley tripod feet.
