This is a super, honest Georgian antique chair, with the original polish, finish and colour. Dated circa 1780.
As you would expect with a piece of this age, there are surface scuffs / scratches and signs of historic woodworm (extinct but treated for good measure) - all commensurate with regular use over 200+ years.
This lovely country chair is solid in joint, has no wobbles; and was hand crafted and peg joined.
