Antique Georgian mahogany gallery tray top bedside pot cupboard table / cabinet.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character and a great size for use as a bedside table or a hall or living room side table.An extremely desirable style and quite hard to find (sorry it's not a pair!). Three quarter gallery over a good size cupboard with slatted interior; raised on beautiful finely turned tapering legs.
A classic Georgian antique - elegant, compact and versatile.
In a good original condition with the expected wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There is a small historic split to the the wood on the table top (please see photo) but this is fairly common in pieces of this age and hardly noticeable. The door knob is a little loose (moves in and out but is firmly in place) but the closing mechanism works well. Overall solid of joint with no signs of historic repair or wood worm.Delivered lightly polished and ready to place in the home.
