About the artist - Jonne Bergström (1915-1987):
Jonne Bergström was a Swedish artist, born on 28th March 1915, in Örnsköldsvik and died on 29th January 1987, in Kvissleby. He studied art under Isaac Grünewald in Stockholm and then in Paris. His artistic work largely comprised figure studies and landscapes from Northern Sweden. Over his career his artworks have been included in collections at several museums, including Norrköping Art Museum, Linköping Museum, Sundsvall Museum, and Värmland Museum.
