A Mid 20th century Oak lift top sewing table and storage box by Morco who specialised in lady's sewing boxes in the1940s / 50s.
Morco Mid Century Sewing Box
A lovely mid-century sewing table with storage compartment, featuring the original pale green satin liner, closing mechanism and Morco company logo and No. 173 stamp to the base. The interior is in a good clean condition and wear is commensurate with age and use.
The storage compartment has an octagonal bentwood shape and the solid stained oak table top has a pretty scalloped edge making this both useful and beautiful.
This is a fabulous accessory for anyone with an interest in sewing, knitting or textiles.
