English, circa 1770, this is a fine chest of drawers in rich coloured mahogany.
Quality Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers
A handsome, quality-made George III mahogany chest of drawers. Comprising two short over three long graduating drawers with cockbeaded fronts, original brass swan neck handles and locks (no key). Good condition to the top and lovely grain pattern with stringing to the edges. This chest sits on ogee shaped bracket feet.
There are a few minor losses to the cockbeading, and a very small repair to the veneer top left, all to be expected given the age of the piece.
This is a good looking, well proportioned chest. Ready to place in the home.
