The 1960s heralded a golden age of poster design, in Britain this was pioneered by a group of artists including Michael English and Nigel Waymouth who formed Hapshash and the Coloured Coat to produce posters for the UFO Club in London. The resulting designs were startling and brought an explosive vitality to the fly posters on London streets. They used gold and silver inks, super bright colours, fluid typography, beautiful illustration and op-art graphics. Eye candy to match or enhance any psychedelic experience!
Condition report: There are a couple of age related marks to the print - please see the up close photos for details. You don't really notice them unless looking for them. The artwork has been professionally framed in a glazed white wooden frame; no mount.
