Antique Victorian Button Back Open Armchair
The elegant curves of this classic Victorian armchair are formed over a walnut frame, with carved detail to the show wood on the arms and legs.
Traditionally upholstered, open arm, with button upholstered spoon shaped back and spiral carved walnut supports. The front legs are turned, with all four legs set on castors.
The upholstery is in excellent condition.
Wear is commensurate with age - one of the front legs has a knock to one of the turned rings; but this does not detract from the beauty of this super chair (see photos) and is not visible from the front view.
The chair is sprung and very comfortable; the frame is solid.
A high quality antique armchair which would be a wonderful addition to any home.
