Genuine Victorian tripod or gypsy table with bobbin turned legs and original gold velvet cover (1 tassle is missing). The ebonised legs are finished with worn gilded gold paint.
This table is structurally sound and stable, with the expected surface wear for its age. The table has a slight slope (see dimensions for detail), which is common for gypsy tables, but does not hinder use.
Super, characterful piece. Perfect as a lamp or side table.
