Vintage Swedish Repoussé Brass Wall Sconce

Single large Swedish brass repoussé dual light wall candle sconce, dated 1937. Decorated with a beaded floral design and marked with the date.

The candle holder is detachable and hooks into the back of the light plate. All in a good vintage condition - wear is commensurate with its 86 years and prior use adding to their charm and sense of history.  Some signs of soldering repair to the reverse and candle holders, to be expected given their age.  The handcrafted repoussé detailing is a work of art and the plate beautifully reflects the light from the candles.  These vintage sconces would be perfect for bringing ambience to a hallway, living room, bedroom or dining room. The candle holder - with drip trays for collecting the melted wax - fit a standard size short candle (tall candles too heavy for the arms).
