A late 19th century slipper chair / nursing chair upholstered in a pale dusky-pink buttoned fabric with diamond pattern detail.

The deeply buttoned back and profile give the chair excellent decorative appeal, while the low seat and compact footprint make it ideal as a bedroom chair, dressing room piece, or occasional chair.

The upholstery shows sun fading consistent with age and use; the chair could equally be enjoyed in its present condition or reupholstered to suit a new interior scheme.

Raised on turned front legs and splayed rear legs all with original castors.
