The Antiques Hound is run by two sisters based in Bristol & Sussex; with Louise firmly established in the interiors world having set up Omelo Mirrors in 2009.  Louise's beautiful convex mirrors adorn the walls of interiors around the globe, from homes to boutique hotels and restaurants.  Suzanne's background in media & marketing keeps us focused on delivering a bespoke and customer centric offering.  And we're always accompanied by our hounds!

 

Our passion for antiques stems from our old family home in Somerset, which was filled with beautiful pieces handed down through generations.  Each item with a story to tell. As we have grown up it is this furniture that has endured the test of time and still has a place in our homes today.

We aren’t specialist antique dealers; instead we buy pieces that we love and would want in our own homes.  We believe antiques should be accessible to all, so we source an affordable range from across the UK; focussing on compact pieces which complement how we live today.  This Gypsy table has been a favourite with its gorgeous crackled patina.  You will find a mix of pieces dating from the early 18th to mid 20th centuries - from elegant Georgian classics to sleek mid-century lines.

We have worked with many interior designers via our sister company, Omelo Mirrors, and we understand that trends come and go, but beautiful hand selected furniture and accessories will always endure.
