This very elegant ash and elm Windsor armchair is in solid original condition; the wood with good mellow colour and patina.
There are signs of extinct woodworm to two of the turnings, which is not unusual in wood of this age and we have treated the chair for good measure. Importantly, there are no breaks to the backs, arms or legs which is common with these types of chairs.
This wonderful chair has a a pierced splat, solid elm seat, turned arm supports, standing on ring turned legs.
