£795.00Price
  • Delightful George III period mahogany and oak dressing table.

The well-figured rectangular hinged top opens to reveal a fitted interior with divided compartments, flanking an adjustable easel backed mirror.

The drawer configuration consists of two dummy drawers over two short drawers, all retaining their original brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are oak-lined throughout, a hallmark of quality Georgian cabinet making.

The table stands on slender tapering legs terminating in original brass castors, giving it a light and refined stance. The mahogany has developed a rich colour and patina consistent with age.

A versatile and increasingly sought-after form, ideal as a gentleman’s dressing table, or elegant occasional table.

    Condition:
Good antique condition, wear commensurate with age and use. Overall very well preserved with an attractive, consistent patina.
