A very pretty Georgian style silver plated chamberstick or candleholder with separate candle snuffer which sits neatly in the tray.
In the 18th century, chambersticks lit the way from the main living quarters to the bedchamber. This would make a lovely decorative but fully functioning candlestick in a living room, hallway, bedroom or bathroom.
The bottom is stamped: Primrose Plate; E.P. Copper; Lead Mounts; 0149.
Very good vintage condition - some surface wear to be expected with age, but this simply adds to the charm and character.
